Our Church Leadership
The leadership of Mount Tabor United Methodist Church is a dedicated group of people that LOVE Jesus and care about people. Our leadership is built around our mission:
"The mission of Mount Tabor United Methodist Church is to reach, welcome, and serve all people so that we and others can become fully devoted disciples of Jesus Christ."
Christy Suffecool: Pastor
Pastor Christy joined us in July of 2020. Originally from Canton, she has been serving in ministry in for the past 12 years in Wayne, Holmes, and Coshocton counties. She completed licensing school through Mount Union College in 2012. She is also a graduate of Stark State College with a degree in Business Management. She holds a certificate of Project Management from Kent State University as well.
Pastor Christy has led Fellowship of Christian Athletes in numerous high schools as well as character development programs in local elementary schools. She has a passion for community partnerships and enjoys volunteering in the schools.
In her free time she enjoys hiking and spending time with her kids and family.

Sandy Hamilton: Administrative Assistant
Sandy has been a part of the Mt. Tabor team for the last 4 years. She has been married for 49 years, has 4 children, 17 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Charlotte Schweitzer: Treasurer
Jillian Corbi: Worship Leader/Choir Director
Jillian grew up in East Canton and began directing the Mt. Tabor choir and bell choir in 2010. She graduated magna cum laude from Kent State Hugh A. Glauser School of Music with a Bachelor of Arts the following year. She has studied piano for more than 20 years under the tutelage of such greats as Simone Rodak, Ken Furlan, and Sebastian Birch. These days, Jillian is a domestic goddess (better known as a stay-at-home mom) who loves to read, bake, and quilt.
